Using Microsoft Word to Make a Spinner Game
|
Open a new Microsoft Word document. Go to Insert, Picture, and click on AutoShapes. |
|
Click on the oval at the bottom of the screen, then click on your work area (holding the left mouse button down) and drag to make a circle about 4 ½ inches in diameter. You may have to print a circle and see if it fits into the jewel case. You can adjust the circle by clicking on it, the hold down the control and shift keys while you drag the little square in one of the corners. By holding the control and shift keys, you are keeping the circle in proportion. After you have the right size circle, then go to Insert, Text Box. Then click on your work area (holding the left mouse button down) and drag to make the text box the size you want. |

Put your cursor in the text box and type what you want.
Continue putting in text boxes and typing directions. You can move the text boxes by putting the cursor on the box until your cursor changes into four arrows pointing in separate directions. When you have the four arrows, click on the left mouse button, hold and drag the box to the position you want it.
