Children LOVE to see photos of themselves so take pictures and make learning activities!  Here are some ideas:

  • Play Bingo with the students pictures
  • Show part of the photo and try to guess who it is
  • Sort boys/girls
  • Use digital disguises (hat/glasses/jewelry)
  • Delete the eyes and mouth, print, and then use manipulatives to change expressions
  • Make a flipbook with heads on different bodies
  • Print a large face photo, cut out the eyes, laminate and make a mask
  • Audio record the children, then set up a matching game to match the voice to the photo
  • Obtain family photos without the child and then set up a matching game to match the child to mom and dad.
  • Sort adults/children
